  • Classic Thai and Thai - Chinese dishes restaurant. Totally recommended. Nice service. Reasonable price. Must end your meal with coconut ice cream. Been here many times and still discovering menues.

  • I loved the sauce that come with the steamed sea bass; it was delicious. The fish maw in red gravy wasn’t really my thing. I usually prefer the red gravy to be more intense and flavorful but that’s just me. The fried liver with garlic had thick slices, which was satisfying, but I personally prefer thinner slices. The stir-fried basil dish was good. The other dishes were just okay—not bad, just not my style. The restaurant has a nice classic atmosphere. They also have variety of choice.

  • Experience the rich culinary tapestry of HuaHin Photchana, where Thai and Chinese flavors harmonize on the plate! From the fiery Thai-style crispy catfish in chili paste to the soul-soothing slow-cooked goat soup with Chinese herbs, each dish tells a story of tradition and taste. Recommended by my foodie brother, this 70-year-old plus restaurant enchants with its classic ambiance and authentic menu offerings from both cultures. Step into a world where every bite is a delicious blend of Thai and Chinese heritage. #HuaHinPhotchana #OldStyleCharm #AuthenticFlavors

  • This Thai-Chinese restaurant is your best bite in the area. Food ingredients are good, cooking techniques are on point, seasoning is deliciously balanced, portions are suitable for prices. The greatest at its simplest. The restaurant can be crowded during lunch time and it’s closed on 2nd and 4th weekend of each month. Street parking spots are limited.

  • Very tasty Thai-Chinese food with the touch of Western - inspired Thai we will call them cook-shop style which we just found out recently! Very excited to try and not disappointed. Their star dishes delivered what they suppose to be. Recommend to go a little early lunch, some of the many might be sold out. Parking is limited.

  • A mere 20min walk from the Wat Benchamabophit Dusitwanaram, and you'll find yourself in a section of old town Bangkok where Hua Hin Photchana is located. Mainly serving Thai-Chinese style foods, the restaurant has been run by the same family out of their family home for generations. The dad takes the order, while the mom and daughter serves the food, the very definition of a 'home cook meal'. Everything we had was delicious, the Hainanese style chicken were flowing with delicious juices, the fried oysters were large and crispy, the cashew chicken were crunchy with a hint of smokiness, the pork patty were salty and was a perfect compliments to some hot white rice. Just simple delicious delicious home cook meal. Will certainly visit again. First come first serve street parking available.

  • Everything was delicious, the fish cakes were particularly meaty and good. A favourite of mines, the fried liver was great. And the beef with the tom seb soup was very tender. Service was really nice too.

  • Traditional Chinese influence restaurant (cook shop style). One of the best oyster omelette in Bangkok where you do not have to choose between the crispy or gooey one, they magically made the outside crust so crunchy while the inside is still gooey! แกงป่าเนื้อ (Gaeng pa - Spicy clear soup curry with beef) is going to make you sweaty. I am certain the elderly Thai-Chinese parents would love this restaurant. They also serve a la carte Thai dish on rice in case you don't come in group. The price is very reasonable and affordable.
